If you were around back in the day for AllAdvantage, you’ll be surprised to hear that the guys that made it have started up a new one. For those of you who weren’t, AllAdvantage was basically an a site that paid you to surf the internet and paid you even more if you referred people to use their service. A Global Community or AGLOCO is the new startup. Of course, again, if you were around, you know that it was shut down some time ago but not before many of us made a decent amount of money. With Internet advertising on its way up again, this is probably a good time for them to start again.
Basically, the service will put a toolbar on the bottom of your browser that looks like this:

While AllAdvantage paid you per hour that you surfed, AGLOCO will pay you a share of what the advertisers pay. This is a better business model than AllAdvantage 1.0 which paid out much more than what they took in, resulting in the downfall of the company. The good thing is, the more AGLOCO gets, the more we get paid!
The great thing about this is that you only have to have the bar up for a certain amount of time and then your screen real estate is clear for the rest of the money. Currently, it is five hours a month, which is a fraction of the time most of us spend surfing each month. Much like AllAdvantage, you also get paid according to the people that you refer to sign up.

There’s a calculator on the site that shows you how much you can potentially make. If I sign up 5 people and they each sign up another five people and they each surf five hours a month, you can make nearly four thousand bucks. Payment is sent as either a cheque for the cash amount or in company stock.
I don’t know about you but I’m getting on the gravy train again while it’s hot! I signed up quite a few people back in the AllAdvantage days and came out with a few thousand after all was said and done.

AllAdvantage was great…those were the days. Let’s hope this thing picks up again. When will be able to download the toolbar?
ReplyI used AllAdvantage back in the day too. My buddy even wrote a VB program that moved the mouse around and clicked on the web pages at night. We ran a couple of accounts like that all night long for several weeks until the inevitable downfall of the whole alladvantage system. $4000 for 25 people 5 hours each seems kind of high. You must mean 5 people referring their own 5 and soon on, until you max out your extended referrals.

Final: It’s not 4000$, it’s 4000 shares… A share could be worth 2 cents.. or $1.. it all depends on how much publicity these guys are able to sell to advertisers.
ReplyIve signed up, but the thing i dont get, is at the moment, is anyone actually earning? i log in, browse the net, go back to agloco, no hours. Im waiting in line for the viewbar, but until then, is all i can do just refer people?
And the point about shares is interesting. The success of Agloco in terms of money is pretty much dependent on its success in terms of public awareness and sponsorship/partnership.
Im interested to see where this goes.
