Because There Was A Problem With Real Candles…

I can’t decide whether this is incredibly stupid or incredibly awesome. There’s a thin line sometimes, I tell you.

I’d say… incredibly dim.

I agree with Jon; these “candles” seem awfully dim to actually be useful.

These things are completely useless, but I want a set! They’re great conversation pieces :)

@John Chow: You wouldn’t know what awesome was if it mauled you like a pack of pandas.

@Everyone else: Useless…well, something can only be art if it has no use other than being. I wouldn’t say useless but…I wouldn’t pay $70 for one. Yes, they’re $70.

I think these would be a great prize to give away on your blog upon your return :)

Initially I was thinking they were pretty stupid, although did have a degree of coolness. Hearing that they are $70 for one of them, I am pushed more towards thinking that they are incredibly stupid.

I’ll cast my vote in the awesome category. But, at $70, they’re not incredibly awesome. I have a $4 (or maybe it was $5) electric candle. Can’t blow it out, but for savings of $65, I’ll turn off the switch myself. ;-)

Awesomely stupid. Nice over engineering. Do they make hammers for the military?
