Bionic Woman Set @ UBC

Even though many predict that the strong Canadian dollar will discourage Hollywood bringing their business up north, there are still plenty of television shows and movies being filmed here in Vancouver. I just happen to stumble across the set of Bionic Woman this afternoon, right outside my last class at UBC. I’m not sure what’s going on here but it appears to be some kind of farmer’s market. Those giant silver tubes you see in the middle of the picture seem to be some kind of pneumatic launchers so I can only assume there will be stuff blowing up and things being thrown all over the place. Sorry about the picture quality. I don’t carry my usual equipment around with me at school so I had to use my phone. I know…I’m a photographer…but hey, it’s a phone.

No, I didn’t see Leo on set this time but if you watch whatever episode this happens to be, you might see me! I walked through the set while they were filming. No one seemed to mind so I guess they thought the students could look like extras in the shot.
