the.[ED]ition

So John did this Blog Tag thing on his site.  The premise is rather simple and not unlike chain letters sent around in the mid-90s which threatened to kick you off ICQ, shut down the internet or send things to kill you, whether they be ghosts, pandas or hitmen, if you didn’t comply.  However, it’s been awhile since I’ve followed along so why the heck not.  And for the record, I never replied to chain letters and I’ve yet to see any rabid pandas on the prowl.

1. I can recite nearly all of The Fast and the Furious.  It’s not that I particularly liked the move but that it was so insanely stupid that it was quite easy to remember “No one likes the tuna here!” or “I didn’t narc on NO ONE!” or “More than you can afford, pal…FERRARI.”
2. I love Safety Dance, a ridiculous ’80s song by Men Without Hats.  I can do a fairly good tribute to the song in that particular tone of voice complete with dancing…which I usually do when I show up drunk to work.  How much does Safety Dance rock?  Infinity.  It rocks infinity.
3. I am the world’s worst employee when it comes to customer service.  I have stared at customers blankly for over a minute in absolute silence until they get frustrated and leave.  My co-workers and I used to have contests quite often to see who could give the absolute worst customer service.  I’ll post stories about this from time to time.
4. I have never owned any video game console.  I had a couple handheld ones but I’ve never owned one that connected to a TV…although I’m almost sure I’m going to purchase a 360 any day now.
5. I am wanted in the state of Oregon.  One year when me and John Chow were driving home from Los Angeles, I accumulated probably around $2000 worth of speeding tickets since I was going around 120 mph on the highway just outside Portland.  When I answered “Uh…70?” to the policeman’s question of how fast I thought the speed limit was, I was informed that no where on that highway in the state of Oregon is the speed limit 70.  I still haven’t paid and don’t plan to.  Oh…we got home from downtown LA to my house in Richmond in just over 16 hours.
