Left 4 Dead
I really need to find more time in the day. This is one of those “perfect storm” times of the year when tons of quality games come out and there’s simply not enough time to play them all. I saw a video for Left 4 Dead the other day and was convinced that [...]

I’m not much of a toy collector but when I saw this today, I had to have it.
Some friends and I drove down to the States for a bit of shopping. Mostly around Bellingham and outside Seattle for some clothing and maybe some other miscellaneous things. We stopped back at Bellis Fair around dinner time and I, enticed by cheap box sets, wandered into a CD/DVD shop, where I found a 7-inch incarnation of Agent 47 from the Hitman series. I’m a huge fan of that entire series of games and there was only one so I bought it without another thought, although I did stop before going to the register to show my buddy who is also a big fan of 47.

As you can see, 47 looks much like he does in the game (although I’m not sure how much Timothy Olyphant will look like him in the Hitman movie) with his trademark suit and black gloves. He even has the real barcode of 640509-040147 on the back of his head (which is an actual registered barcode for, what else, a “Mr. 47″) He also comes with a large arsenal of weaponry but since I like to remain true to the game, I chose to equip him with a briefcase and a pistol, since I don’t think I’ve ever seriously used H&K MP5 or the M4 while playing. There’s quite a bit of detail for something so tiny. The grooves are even in the right spots.

Honestly, I would’ve rather he come with his signature fiber wire and syringes instead. You don’t become a silent assassin with automatic weapons…

ReplyI like the image of the size comparison of a real assault rifle and the model’s!
Who is the manufacturer of this item? The quality looks awesome!
ReplyWhat a dork! Kidding, Ed.
I’m just jealous. Sweet buy! Automatic weapons, ftw!
ReplyAwesome! My favorite weapon has always been the sniper rifle.
Reply[...] you know, I’m a massive fan of the Hitman franchise of video games. I’ve got a mini 47 on my desk and it even inspired me, after Jeff Kee asked, to hatch an ingenious plan to get rid of [...]
