Dot Com Pho – Broke Edition

by Ed Lau on October 25, 2009

We ain’t messin’ with no broke…broke!

I was actually rather tired this week and thought about skipping Dot Com Pho but John suggested we go back to Pho Thai Hoa which has some of the best Vietnamese sandwiches I’ve ever had so I was convinced. Seriously, if you stop by, grab one of the grilled pork sandwiches and you’ll be in sandwich heaven. iPhone Gary got one with extra jalapeno and subsequently paid for his foolishness as he was soon dripping burning hot sweat and tears.

Joining Dot Com Pho fixtures like myself, Gary, John and Greg this week were Michael “Fatality” Yurechko, Mike Walker, Dan Udey and Moneca as we discuss a movie on the financial woes of the United States of America, a new pocket-sized Canon digital camera and more.

Everyone is welcome to join us for Dot Com Pho every Saturday at 12:30pm. We usually alert the masses as to where we’re going for the week the days leading up to the weekend so if you’d like to join us, let me know via Twitter and we’ll save you a seat!

I had the pho sweats–yet again! Actually, I blame it on the jalepeno pepper I put in my pho, that I accidentally put in my mouth and chewed on, like it was a bean sprout–only it wasn’t. fail!

John still looks pretty much the same since he started out. don’t know where you are getting the indication that he has aged so much.

Hi there Ed
He is looking good I wouldn’t say that he is that old, those sandwich’s sounded amazing and it doesn’t help when you are hungry, that book is so right, all the bigger countries are really starting to feel the recession now and I thing that they are taking real strain. I know that here in SA we are feeling especially the poorer people in the streets, we all just had to keep strong and get through this.
