Dot Com Pho This Week
May 15th, 2008 by Ed Lau |
As some of you may know, some of our Dot Com Pho regulars will not be in attendance this week. John Chow is in Shanghai abusing pandas like when he was a kid. Of course, he had a bit of trouble finding them which I attribute to someone tipping off our black and white friends that their mortal enemy was in town. Either that or John already got to them…and didn’t actually have trouble finding them off camera. Michael Kwan will also not be there this week as he is at the Canadian/US border trying to convince customs that he is not, in fact, a terrorist. I’d give him an endorsement but I have hear him utter the odd “derka derka” as well as something about “Mongorians” on more than one occasion.
Therefore, in charge of this week’s Dot Com Pho are myself and Stephen Fung. I assume that Leo Chiang and Greg Morgan will also be at Pho Lan on Saturday. This isn’t the first time we haven’t had the Root of All Evil but it will be the first time we haven’t had him present for our weekly videocast. Michael will be back next week but we won’t see John at Dot Com Pho until we meet up with him in Taiwan in early June.
And so, I’d like to ask if anyone has any sort of questions they’d like to ask the Dot Com Pho crew or anything you want to see us do for our weekly episode.

Derka derka… jihad? Matt Damon! Matt Damon!
Everything is bon!
For this week’s episode I want to see Leo be given a speaking part - put his acting skills to the test and have him impersonate John.
Ed actually does the best impersonation of John…by FAR!
