I believe this is the first time Dot Com Pho has occurred near simultaneously at two different pho restaurants…albeit two pho restaurants with the same name. As I mentioned before, Michael Kwan has left Vancouver for a city mostly known for a large mall, a golden era of hockey twenty years ago and possibly cows so unfortunately, it will be awhile before he comes to Dot Com Pho Vancouver in person.
In fact, it seemed like everyone was busy this week. Greg Morgan was off in the States, iPhone Gary was dunking himself in a river, Leo was suffering from Xbox addiction and John Chow was out annoying people on the East coast. Therefore, that left Stephen Fung, Ray and myself to hold down the fort along with Michael and Jason Landals via satellite…sort of.
Because it’s the end of summer and most of us will not be here for the next couple weeks (I, for example, will be headed to Whistler for some relaxation time…even though I just came back from 3 months of vacation), Dot Com Pho will be going on hiatus until the season premier tentatively slated for September 13th. We have no idea where we’ll be holding it but if you would like to come out and enjoy some Vietnamese noodles (or whatever else we happen to want to eat) with us, let us know…preferably via Twitter or comments.
