Even though it had barely been six hours since I got off the plane from Tokyo, I really couldn’t pass up Dot Com Rock Band. For one thing, …well, it’s Rock Band. Also, Michael Kwan is leaving us for the vast plains of nothing but wheat and perhaps wind in Alberta. At least there will be fewer things for him to crash scooters and Segways into. The jetlag had a bit of an effect on my usual face melting abilities but I was still heads on shoulders above noobs like Gary.
I can play just about every song on guitar on expert except the seriously ridiculous ones like Snow by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Iron Maiden’s Run to the Hills but I was struggling to keep up with Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld on the hard difficulty. Other highlights include Stephen trying to play the drums with one hand since he was eating a fudgicle. I was totally waiting for him to get confused and smash his creamy chocolate snack into Greg’s drum pad.
In case you’re wondering, no, I have no idea where that place Stephen mentioned for Dot Com Pho this week is located but I’m sure we’ll figured it out by Saturday.
