Dot Com Shanghai Kitchen

by Ed Lau on February 28, 2009

So we decided that it was a good day to try something new and went to grab some Shanghai food rather than our usual Vietnamese noodles. We went to Chen’s, which in front of possibly the worst parking lot in the entire city…and that’s saying a lot considering this is in Richmond. I’ve been a few times before and honestly, Chen’s is a fantastic restaurant. I don’t know if they’re the best casual Chinese restaurant in the city but it’s certainly very good. One thing that’s possibly even worse than the tiny, crowded parking lot might be the tiny, crowded tables…and obviously more people than we expected showed up.

In this episode, we have the ongoing iPhone vs. Blackberry debate, pig ears, scalding hot dumplings and Sally stating the obvious.

Where in Richmond? Parking lots are dangerous places in general.
