Forgetting Sarah Marshall

After the ridiculous success of foul-mouthed comedies like Superbad, Knocked Up and The 40-Year Old Virgin, it’s no surprise that the Judd Apatow comedy posse is coming out with another film soon. Like Superbad, Apatow gets producer credits for Forgetting Sarah Marshall, written by and starring Jason Segel, who most of you will know (hopefully) as Marshall from How I Met Your Mother. I’m sure he had plenty of time to work on this due to the ongoing writer’s strike that’s keeping my favorite show off the air…
Although it doesn’t seem as obscene and coarse as some of the aforementioned movies, some of the usual suspects like Paul Rudd, Jonah Hill, and Bill Hader appear in the film in various roles. Title character Sarah Marshall is played by the smokin’ Kristen Bell. Got enough reasons to see this yet? Hopefully this will follow the ongoing trend of Apatow-produced dirty comedies.

Sorry, is that Russell Brand, the surreal and long word using comedian from the UK, being the “new boyfriend”? That’s a good reason to see it, however it’s unlikely he got to write his own words… Shame…
