It’s been a long time since I’ve done any sort of meme post. Danielle tagged me for a couple interesting ones this week and…here’s the first one:
- How do you like your eggs cooked? Any special ingredients?
Not really. My eggs are rather boring sunnyside up or some sort of omelette depending on how lazy I am. I usually can’t be bothered to be my usual Iron Chef self in the morning.
- What is your favorite cold sandwich, made on two pieces of bread?
Hmmm, I’m not sure if it counts as two pieces of bread but I especially like Vietnamese sub sandwiches, which are usually made on crusty French rolls, Vietnamese ham and pickled carrots and turnip. If anyone is ever in the Vancouver area, I’ll take you to a cafe that makes the best ones…ever.
- What is your favorite pie?
Key lime. Ice cold or even frozen.
- Name one food you refuse to eat and why?
Being Chinese, I’ve eaten a lot of strange things and I’ve always said I’ll try nearly anything once. Ox tongue is probably gross for some people but it’s one of my favorite dishes. However, I refuse to eat anything that used to be some animal’s gonads. I’ve been to a noodle place in Hong Kong where you can order…and I’m not joking, bull penis noodle soup. That’s right…I draw the line at penis.

Key lime pie is hot to trot, we don’t really have it in Aus, but whenever I get the chance I chow into that stuff and it’s friggin great.
