I got my copy of Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 two days ago and already I’m about halfway through the single player. In addition, my friends and I have gone through about half the terrorist hunt maps on the hardest difficulty. After playing the original Rainbow Six: Vegas for god knows how long, we couldn’t wait for a sequel.
After a little bit of reading on the net, apparently there are a few freebies available for the game for folks who purchased the game at Best Buy. I was going to get it at Best Buy but the one closest to my place isn’t getting the damn thing until next week. Next week? It’ll be a dinosaur by then. Anyways, here’s what the sticker says.
Free TAR rifle: At the main menu, enter the following buttons = HOLD RB + Down, Down, Up, Up, X, B, X, B, Y, Up, Up, Y
Free Comcast Map: From the main menu, select “Extras”, select “Comcast Gift”, enter code “COMCAST FASTER”.
If anyone has Vegas 2 on Xbox, let me know if you want to play.

You would have thought that in this world of console-internet gaming and exclusives up the wazoo, that maybe they could have used a proper in-pack individual code for these freebies, instead of a sticker. That way, the “exclusive” stuff would stay exclusive, and actually forcing those that want those extras to actually buy that specific pack instead of waiting for teh intarnets to hand it to them on a plate.
(After reading that paragraph, I think I need to drink more coffee…)

Finished it already. Not even 1/10th azs good as Vegas 2.
That’s my only complaint, it’s too short. I finished it in about 6 hours, but I’m now playing it on the hardest level . . . a whole different story.
