Guitar Hero 3: A Few Upcoming Tracks Announced

I seriously can’t get enough of Guitar Hero. Honestly, I’ve thought that these kinds of games, beginning with Dance Dance Revolution were as stupid as a brain damaged Jack Thompson but Guitar Hero has two things going for it that the rest simple don’t have. Firstly, good music. DDR is mostly garbage I wouldn’t dance to in a normal situation let alone on some virtual dance platform. Second, it properly rocks. Hitting some of the more complicated riffs and chords in your favorite songs seriously makes you feel like a rock god.

Hot on the heels of Guitar Hero 2, the third installment should be here in October. Guitar Hero 3 will feature a new guitar that looks like the old one (from the Playstation 2 game) but with a slightly different button layout and it will be wireless. Some of the tracks from the new game were announced recently.
