I’m not sure but if I were to put a number to it, it would be somewhere between 926 bajillion and infinity. Yes, it rocks infinity.

After a kind REVscene member that knew I was looking for the popular (and sold out in Vancouver) game for the Xbox 360 tipped me off that Future Shop had 30 in-stock on the online store, I went and picked up a copy for myself and couple for my friends. I got to tell you…I never thought I’d tell people in public that Cheap Trick rocks, but from the first song til the last, you feel like a f’n rock god.

Seriously, for the last encore, I heard some jackass yell “FREEBIRD!” just like at any rock concert. I thought he was joking but then…the actual encore song is freakin’ Freebird. Playing the greatest encore rock song of all time was just too badass for words. It also shredded my fingers with 15 minutes of face-melting action.

If you have a Xbox 360, definitely pick up a copy of Guitar Hero 2. It’s a hundred bucks but it also comes with a guitar. I know…I was a bit skeptical about it at first as well but once you get to play classics like Sweet Child ‘O Mine, you won’t regret your purchase one bit.

I totally agree. One of my friends has both the first and second games. I try to get a few rounds in each time I visit… and ive even thought about picking up a playstation just for that game. I guess the only thing stopping me is the fact I suck at the game, but that doesn’t mean its not fun trying hah

Christmas Eve, 2006. The usual routine is for one present each to be opened on that day to make the excitement die down a bit before the big day itself. My kid brother opens… Guitar Hero. It got played well into the night, and everyone loved it.
Christmas day itself, he gets a ton more PS2 games. Except that he doesn’t play them. He played Guitar Hero all day.
My birthday on the 26th arrived straight afterwards, so it was my turn to dominate the TV. What did I do? Play Guitar Hero all day.

I’m tempted to get an old PS2 and a copy of GH or GH2, if only so I can play it without having to go to my mother’s house…
