I Pity The Foo That Don’t Play WoW!

by Ed Lau on November 21, 2007

Actually, if you have never touched the most addictive drug on the planet, World of Warcraft, save yourself before it’s too late. Seriously, one day you’re thinking to yourself that you’ll just try it since it’s only $1.99 for the trial DVD and then, two years later, you’re wondering what the hell you’ve been doing. It’s like crack.

Well, probably a little more fun than crack. Just when I thought I had freed myself entirely from the evil, evil grasp of World of Warcraft, they make an ingenious ad campaign that almost has me reaching for the install discs. What, you ask, could have me on the verge of a relapse? Those bastards at Blizzard have recruited one of the world’s ambassadors of all that is awesome to convince people to play the game…Mr. T. If you don’t know why Mr. T is awesome, then…well, I pity th’ foo!

There’s one of William Shatner too, who is slightly less awesome…or more, depending on how you look at things.

Too enticing. No way I am allowing myself to get hooked. Mr. T is the more awesome. Good promo videos though.

I’ve wanted to play this game for years now. But I know if I try it, I’ll be really hooked and won’t get work done. It happened with Ultima Online and supposedly that doesn’t come close to this game.

Shatner gets my vote!

I’m so glad I’ve beaten the WoW addiction, but now I’m hooked on my Xbox ;)
