Visiting Union Gospel Mission
John Chow, Stephen Fung, Greg Morgan and I were invited down to UGM today to have some lunch and hear about some of the new stuff they’ve been doing lately. We’re always glad to go down to UGM as well as help them raise some funds to help folks in need over the holidays.

I think I’m going to catch some flack for this but honestly, one of my favorite shows on TV is…So You Think You Can Dance. I can’t get into any other reality shows but I can’t get enough of this one as it has some of the greatest undiscovered talent on the planet. Seriously, some of the things these folks can do is just ridiculous. Of course, all the amazing choreography we see throughout the show’s run is huge as well. In order to do well, though, most dancers have to be really well rounded and able to do many different types of dance from hip-hop to ballroom to contemporary.
I’m not sure this guy will make it past the next round since he seems like a one-trick pony…but holy crap, what a trick it is.

I haven’t personally seen “So you think you can dance” but he had good moves but i don’t think you could really say this is dancing, or could you?????/
ReplyDude is a contortionist. Where’s his rhythm? He’s also kinda scary looking when he does that. Cool yes. Dancing, no.

ReplyIts interesting, but its not quite my idea of dancing. He’d do well in an acrobat’s act.
ReplyThis guy got interesting moves but to go far in this competition, dancers need to be well rounded.
I just can’t see him doing the ballroom thingy.
ReplyThat is amazing but I have to agree that he will likely get the boot from the show when they evaluate the overall dancing. That is the kind of stuff that my youngest son is trying to learn how to do, I’ll have to show him this guy.
