Visiting Union Gospel Mission
John Chow, Stephen Fung, Greg Morgan and I were invited down to UGM today to have some lunch and hear about some of the new stuff they’ve been doing lately. We’re always glad to go down to UGM as well as help them raise some funds to help folks in need over the holidays.

…to vote for Barack Obama, I’m seriously not sure what is. Even though, being Canadian, I have nothing to do with American politics, I do follow out of sheer interest and honestly, Obama seems to be the most sincere, honest candidate out of the bunch and seems to have a good sense of humor. I’m a big fan of Bill Clinton but I can’t really stand Hillary, who seems so phony all the time. As for the Republicans…well, if you want to vote for a freak like Mike Huckabee…that’s your problem.
He’ll wrassle it, folks! Wrassle!

Damnit, I wish UK politics was like this.
We had Tony Blair, and the only real funny thing he did was take part in the most recent Comic Relief show, doing the “Am I bovvered? Bovvered? Face Bovvered? Me Bovvered?” thing towards the character that usually does it, played by Catherine Tate.
We now have Gordon “I’m being exciting today, my socks are a shade lighter” Brown, a man that can make a 10 year old’s birthday party a somber affair…
ReplyOh man, that’s brilliant. I love this guy. As an Iowan, I just don’t get these other states that vote for the other nobodies.
“Wrassle”… Can you tell he’s lived in the Midwest?
He’s got my vote.
ReplyIt seems that this years campaigns are polarized between voting for the first black president to the first female president. Race and sex cards are more on the agenda then their actual political message.
ReplyDefinitely. It’s a battle for history in the making. Unfortunately, as you say, the real question everyone should be asking is “who’s best suited to sit at the helm of the country”.
ReplyI love promise #4! Take that, Apple!
