iPhone Unlocked, Hair Will Hopefully Grow Back

iPhone, unlocked

The 1.0.2 firmware for the Apple iPhone is easy enough to unlock. Heck, press few buttons and make yourself a cup of coffee and it’s done. However, the latest 1.1.1 firmware is a completely different story. I would say it’s like pulling teeth but I’ve had my wisdoms out without anesthetic and it was less painful than trying to unlock a 1.1.1 version iPhone.

If you have one of the latest iPhones, do yourself a favor and pay a dude that’s experienced a twenty and have him do it for you. Saving the little bit of cash isn’t worth the pain and suffering. Heck, you’ll probably spend more than $20 on Rogaine if try the unlock yourself.

I just unlocked mine last night by using this guide for v1.1.1: http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=11038

…a couple hours later and everything was working for me!

Yesterday, both of you were complaining about having a locked iPhone and not even 24 hours later, both of you are proud owners of unlocked Jesus Phones. :)

Maybe you should’ve just downgraded to 1.0.2 and then unlocked it?

I’m of of those 2nd Gen guys who waits until all the people who want the latest toys from Apple to sell off their old iPhones for nothing as they scramble to buy the next new gimmick that everyone wants ;)
