Japadog Revisited

Japadog, Japanese Hotdog

I went downtown today to run an errand and passed by a certain little red umbrella-ed, hot dog stand as I drove along Burrard. After receiving tens of thousands of hits for my Japadog review back in July, I felt like I owed them some money. Who knew a post about hotdogs would be my most popular article ever?

It obviously wasn’t a July day today with light rain falling as it usually does in Vancouver and eating outside probably wasn’t a great idea but the Miso Mayo dog was just as good as ever.

Japadog, Japanese Hotdog

By the way, if you happen to go grab a Japadog, don’t be fooled by the other hot dog stand nearby that also has a red umbrella. That’s Kimchi dog, which isn’t in any way associated with Japadog…although it looks like they’re trying to cash in on the similarity. Maybe we can get The Daily Kimchi to give that place a try.

On a completely separate note, the camera quality on the iPhone isn’t bad, is it?

Forgive me if I don’t think this hot dog sounds particuarly appetizing! I’m a good ole fashioned, chile, cheese and ketchup hot dog kind of guy.

Kimchi dog? WTF…haha, that might be interesting. I’m surprised at the camera’s ability to take clear pics in less than perfect lighting environments…

I’m going to have to try that out sometime, it’s been ages since I’ve been down there.
