Visiting Union Gospel Mission
John Chow, Stephen Fung, Greg Morgan and I were invited down to UGM today to have some lunch and hear about some of the new stuff they’ve been doing lately. We’re always glad to go down to UGM as well as help them raise some funds to help folks in need over the holidays.

I, like many other people, have often wondering what John does with all the pandas he punches in the face or throw rocks at. Now we know that he staples them all together to make furniture. Some people may tell you that this chair is made from stuffed toy pandas but we know the truth, now don’t we?

I give up. Is there anything John can’t make any money from?
ReplyThat thing looks uncomfortable. But if John made it…well, it might be worth trying out.
ReplyOK, I have mixed feelings on this. I love stuffed toys (well, most girls do) but I think I wouldn’t sit on them.
Yet the chair looks funny. Fernando and Humberto Campana have a history creating funny stuff. I have a copy of their ’sushi fruit ‘ bowl
I made it myself - OK it is slightly different, as I’ve never seen the real model “live.”
Now for the question that really made me start a comment: what does this have to do with John Chow?
ReplyOooh! I’ll take one made of white rhinos!
ReplyThis is the third post you mention John and his pandas!
ReplyWhat about this chair: http://www.mossonline.com/product-exec/product_id/36638/category_id/36

Replyjeff kee will order one made of jane mays
Replydoes this go on the awesome wall??
Replylol…John didn’t really make it…it just looks like it was inspired by his panda punching ways.
ReplyThat chair looks delicious!
ReplyI finally understand why pandas have the black spots around their eyes….John Chow has gone around punching them all the face! Right, Ed?
I don’t know why, but every time Ed mentions John and Pandas getting punched, I LOL…even at work.
