The first is the occult, Satanic rituals, breaching the gate between Hell and Earth, etc. This led to me to movies like The Exorcist, The Omen, Gothika, The End of Days, etc. The second is Nazi Germany and Neo-Nazis. This led to me to Schindler's List, American History X, Apt Pupil, etc. Somehow, the latter category produces better and more profound films. Go figure.
