I never gave two thoughts about hockey until I went to a minor league game and watched it in person. Then, I was hooked!! Because Steve Nash is on that team. He doesn't whine, doesn't bitch, doesn't fight and plays with class...and he's Canadian. Hockey announcers in the States do suck...mostly because they don't know how to follow hockey. If you want drama...the NY Islanders vs the NJ Devils on the weekend had the Devils tie with less than a second left...and then the game went to a breakaway shootout to determine who would get the final spot in the playoffs.
