Dragonball is stupid enough without being live action, thank you very much. I’m sure most of us that grew up with it will remember the cheesy lines and ridiculously long, dragged out fight sequences that took several episodes. While it certainly isn’t good by any measure, Dragonball has a special place in the hearts of all of us Asian kids.
Now Hollywood seeks to ruin all our fun with a live action version that looks a hundred times…no…NINE HUNDRED times more ridiculous than the original idea. For one thing…Goku is played by a white boy and there’s all kinds of wrong in this latest trailer.

I liked James Marsters in Buffy The Vampire Slayer so he’ll probably be good in this too, but just looking at the trailer I think it’s for teenagers and not an adult movie.
As bad as this trailer (and probably the resulting movie) is, I kinda like how they chose Chow Yun-Fat for Master Roshi. Haha. He’s soooo not a serious actor anymore. First Pirates of the Caribbean, now this.
Wow…there really is something wrong with this trailer lol. It’s funny though because a lot of ASIAN based movies have white guys as the main character. They just don’t believe in us Asians
