You’re Not Saving Money…Calm The @#*% Down
We discussed this briefly at this weekend’s Dot Com Pho after we heard the news of a Walmart employee getting trampled to death and shootings breaking out over the Black Friday sales a couple days ago. Seriously, we all agreed that this was pure idiocy…not only for the tragic events that occurred but the [...]

Admit it, as bad as Friends got, the ending of one of the longest running and most watched sitcoms seriously left a void in television. Yes, even after the show lost what little edginess it had and after Monica exclaimed “I KNOW!” for the millionth time, you can’t tell me you didn’t watch the show. I mean, even after The O.C. absolutely tanked last year (and the year before that…), it remains a guilty pleasure for many.
Now imagine if Friends retained its edginess. Imagine it upped the crass level a bit. Imagine Bob Sagat and Neil Patrick Harris were on it and, my friends, you end up with How I Met Your Mother, which is probably the best sitcom on TV right now. Heck, I almost forgot Prison Break was on the same day.

The one liners are funnier. The catchphrases are catchier and Neil Patrick Harris’ brilliant Barney character gets far more ass than Joey ever did, If you’ve never seen this show, you will be hooked from the moment he yells “Suit UP!” (…you’ll get it if you watch.) After a hilarious cameo-like performance in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, the world was just asking for Doogie to dirty it up a little more.
Watch any episode and you will not be disappointed. In fact, you might forget about your old Friends altogether.
