		<description>I agree to above... it definitely has its advantage, but it makes sense in the long run.  You need Google to have a large enough reader base to grow large.. You need to grow large to get a lot of money by selling links, Selling links shrink your PR and the cycle continues...</description>

		<description>PageRank is not dead. If PageRank died, Google would no longer have a search engine. PageRank is much more complicated than the number we see, it&#039;s the basis for where sites show up in query results.

All Google is doing is rebalancing their index after it&#039;s been unbalanced by people buying links just for PageRank purposes (w/o a nofollow). I&#039;m pretty sure Google has nothing wrong with paid links, as long as they aren&#039;t used to unbalance their index. If paid links are nofollowed, then that&#039;s fine.

AdSense is done by JavaScript, and all links are not/cannot be followed by search engines. So, it&#039;s not about controlling the market, either.</description>
