Remembrance Day Pictures

Remembrance Day, mounties, Veteran's Day

Been rather busy today working on pictures. Yesterday, I woke up bright and early to drive downtown for the annual Remembrance Day (Veteran’s Day, for all you Yanks) ceremonies and parade. It was pouring quite a bit midway through, which was a good, if slightly risky, way to test the weatherproofing on my camera equipment. Also, it convinced me I probably need a second camera body so I don’t need to switch lenses during shooting, which would not only be far more convenient but probably safer in terms of not getting moisture or dust on the sensor. Anyways, here’s a few from yesterday. More to come.

Nice photos. I was working but managed to attend a ceremony at a local mall. It was actually quite nice, a lone bagpiper stood in front of a wreath and played for 10 minutes prior to 11am for the two minutes of silence.
