Snow!? In MARCH!?

Posted on March 30th, 2008 by Ed Lau

Well, it’s probably actually hail but either way, it’s weird as hell. Global what?

It’s true…yesterday probably within the span of about 10 minutes, we received a good inch or two of frozen crap, which started so suddenly. One second it was totally clear and literally the next, a mass torrent of hail fell on Vancouver so you can imagine how freaked I was driving around on summer tires, slip sliding around on the streets.

Someone ask Al Gore what the hell is going on…

Good thing your Mazda is FWD and has very little power and even less torque or else you might have caused an accident driving in Richmond ;)

The last time heavy snow hit in Easter here (South Wales… fun!) all the public transport and taxis stopped working, trapping many people in the centre of the city overnight… People with cars escaped… I really must learn to drive…
