@Mike Huang: I believe that is out of Ed's hands. I had something similar happen on my blog and the only way around it was for the commentator (i.e., you) to start using a different email address. That's how the top commentators thing recognizes who's who.

Although your command of the English language is vastly superior to that of the panda slayer, I still catch mistakes on your blog from time to time. I've noticed errors involving affect and effect, for example, but thankfully for you, I've got a post on that too.
