Left 4 Dead
I really need to find more time in the day. This is one of those “perfect storm” times of the year when tons of quality games come out and there’s simply not enough time to play them all. I saw a video for Left 4 Dead the other day and was convinced that [...]

Just thought I’d give everyone another quick update on our Name our Site, Win an iPod contest before we get to the links for this week. Michael and I have received approximately 130 domain suggestions so far and we think there are several good ones so far. Of course, we won’t know for sure until the end of the month when we pick our winners so keep sending us your suggestions!
Remember, you don’t need a blog to participate but in order to be eligible for the random draw, you must make a blog post according to our rules. However, every person that sends us a domain suggestion regardless of whether they have a blog or not is eligible to win the 8GB Apple iPod Nano. Thanks for your continued support, everyone.
Now, onto this week’s speedlinks:
- Leo Chiang encourages us to support his friend, Darla Briggs and her participation in the CIBC Run for the Cure. Run for the Cure supports the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in funding research. Leo’s holding a contest to promote the charity event and giving away some cool prizes including a t-shirt, a collector’s edition of City of Heroes and an autographed picture of Darla. A $25 donation is encouraged…it’s a very worthy cause.
- Kelly Cho has some fantastic art videos to share on her site. Kelly claims to be more left-brain orientated (more analytical, less artistic). Personally, I’m a bit more right-sided. Not that I’m particularly artistic. I’m not bad at photography but I can’t paint or draw to save my life and after over 10 years of piano lessons, I’m still horrible. I’m getting better at playing the guitar. I can appreciate artistic quality and…well, more than anything, I’m just horrible at math and stuff. Watch that first video all the way…it might not look like anything at the beginning…
- Prija of CASH for COMMENTS has a picture of John Chow as Darth Vader and himself as Yoda. Need I say more?
- Blog promotion contests seem to be all the rage at the moment. Enkay Blog is giving away an MP3 player the latest giveaway contest. How can you enter? Well, I just did so…try to keep up.
- Ms. Danielle looks at the awesome that is Michael Jackson. Personally, I’m a big Michael Jackson fan and could care less about all the weirdness that surrounds him today. I mean, no matter what he does, it doesn’t change how great his music was. Danielle happens to like Rock With You but for me, I still think Billie Jean is his greatest. Danielle also has some good tips for overcoming writer’s block…one of the many on-job hazards for bloggers.
