I discovered Nadir, owner of Steveston Pizza, a couple years ago after he first opened. I had moved back from Australia in 2003 and was on the prowl for a good pizza. I had tried a chain pizza with the worst tomato sauce ever, then another that tasted and looked deep fried, then another with a crust that peeled my gums back to the roots ;-) If the Ozzies can make a half-decent pizza, why not we Canucks? For three years I was very disappointed.
