Although the "let's walk very quickly down a hallway while discussing something reasonably important and making some tongue-in-cheek comments" can get a little tiring at times, the dialogue -- in general -- is absolutely amazing in this show. By comparison, 30 Rock isn't all that funny, even though it is a distinct <i>comedy</i>, whereas Studio 60 is more of a <i>drama</i> with some subtle humor thrown in. Fans of Studio 60 should also check out Sports Night, also by Aaron Sorkin. It was a short lived show depicting a behind the scenes look at a nightly sportscast a la ESPN Sportscenter.
