In the last moment of the last game of the most unlikely scenario possible, the Toronto Maple Leafs are eliminated from the NHL playoffs, much to the delight of everyone else in Canada. For those of you not familiar with why Toronto sucks, it’s mainly because the Leafs and their broadcasters think it is the center of the hockey world. It’s also annoying when Bob Cole can’t remember any names of any players that don’t play in Toronto. I would rather the Cup go to the Americans than Toronto. It was a wonderful thing to see Toronto bars all quiet with just a faint sound of grown men crying.
Personally, I trace the Leaf’s woes back to when they got owned by the mighty Canucks 6-1…in Toronto…on national television.

I’m hoping my Red Wings make it out of the first round of the playoffs this year.
Go Canucks Go!
I’ll be posting up my first round predictions on Monday or Tuesday.
Even as a Leafs fan I have to say that sign is very funny! I didn’t watch the New York/New Jersey game but from reading the recap I wish I had seen it… why did they sit Brodeur ahhhhh
I’m a Leaf’s fan too, and there is so much truth to that sign
I cant stand the CBC and the Leafs, thank god they are out. I hate how our national broadcaster only shows HD NHL games for the Leafs, perhaps now we will get more HD games for the rest of the Canadian teams.
what a sad, sad day.. what am I going to watch during the playoffs now?
That photo is hilarious! Hopefully a Canadian team makes a good run for it this year. Go Canucks Go!
we shall win the cup!! we need the support of the other candians (ur cheering for canada not for ottawa if u cheer us on ) pce
