Thanks to My Sponsors

Posted on August 14th, 2007 by Ed Lau

This isn’t one of the thousands of “make money online” blogs and I certainly don’t make enough here to be considered an authority on the subject but I do well enough to pay for hosting, my Dot Com Pho bill and such each month. My focus has always been on writing first, money second but it’s nice to pull in a bit of extra dough here and there from my site so I thought I’d take this opportunity to thank the folks that have kept the.[ED]ition in the black since April. Well, actually, I’ve made a profit since January but Adsense doesn’t really count as a sponsor, does it?

  • First Data has been with me since the beginning as the first Text Link Ad I sold. They’ve been here since April even though some other ads have rotated out. “Stop losing sales because you don’t accept credit cards.” is their tag line which seems appropriate since First Data sells all sorts of equipment for credit cards from retail terminals to e-commerce online billing. Thanks for sticking with me for so long, guys.
  • Darin Carter has also been been a long time sponsor of my blog. Darin’s own blog focuses on search engine marketing and has lots of helpful advice on SEO and advertising. Remember! Google’s PageRank update is any day now so get all the help you can get.
  • Marapets is one of the newer sponsors here. There’s all sorts of free online games available for your time wasting needs.

So much appreciation for keeping me up and running. If you’d like to purchase a Text Link Ad here, it’s only $15.00 a month. If you sign up here, you get $100 bucks in free links to start you off.
