Not since Archie had to choose between Betty or Veronica has there been such a hotly debated love triangle in popular culture. For those of you who are uninitiated in the ways of The Office, an American adaptation to the British comedy by Ricky Gervais, we’re talking about the ongoing discussion of who, if you were one Jim Halpert, would you choose: the lovable dorkiness of Pam Beesly or the scratch-her-name-in-your-back-
with-her-nails Karen Filippelli.

Personally, I’m Team Pam, which came to me as strange since, by all means, I would normally pick a girl like Karen. Let me explain.

Karen, played by Rashida Jones, is nerd hot, which just happens to be my favorite brand of hot. I mean, a girl that is awesome at video games and can make a mini-explosion with paper clips? Throw on some glasses and she could make me do anything she damn well pleases. Karen knows what she wants. There’s no subtle hints or implications that we’re so used to on The Office during Karen’s interviews. Did I mention she’s nerd hot?

However, Karen is also really clingy, which I hate. There’s few things I can’t stand more in women than clinginess. Pam makes her uncomfortable and she makes Jim stay up all night talking about it. God, that just lowers her cool factor by quite a bit. Quit your whining, woman!

If that weren’t enough, you just can’t help but root for Pam, played by the dork hot Jenna Fischer. Pam’s not quite as glamorous as Karen but even though she seems to lack self esteem sometimes, Pam’s not clingy or naggy. She also got hammered and got banned from Chili’s, which is very rock’n roll and she’s generally fun and ridiculous, as we see every week on the show. Any girl that can play pranks like that on Dwight is awesome enough for me.

Choosing is tough but I think dorky and fun (and still pretty hot) wins over clingy and hot. Clingy and naggy is just annoying. Which team are you on?

I’m also Team Pam. When I first saw Karen, I thought she was hot too, but that’s sort of worn off. Pam seems like the kind of girl you’d be proud to bring home to mom.

Team Karen all the way! I’d be happy to stay up all night with her talking about pinatas or even the easter bunny because she so incredibly hot! Besides her anxiety about Pam is justified.

Jenna Fischer is damn hot. Why doesn’t she wear this “Blades of Glory” oufit on “The Office”?.

About a week ago someone uploaded a clip of her to several of those video content sites. It appeared to be outtakes from that movie where she’s wearing this outfit. It was on livevideo and liveleek but apparently has been taken down.

Its possible that dailymotion has it too. Probably too new to be found using a Google search. Man I love these video sites!

Team Pam 4 Life, dawg. I also watched Lollilove last night, a mockumentary that Jenna co-wrote, directed, and starred in. Aside from being pretty hilarious, it also confirmed her “adorable” factor.
