We saw flashes of brilliance last month when Darryl and some other Dudder Mifflin employees put together a catchy jingle for their office’s commercial but not too many people know that quite a few members of The Office cast can put together a good set. Creed Bratton, for example, (who’s name actually is Creed Bratton), was a musician prior to pursuing an acting career. If you remember one of the Christmas party episodes one year, the song Creed does for karaoke is his own song “Spinning & Reeling”. Melora Hardin, who plays Jan Levinson, has released two studio albums.

The reason I bring this up is I came across a bunch of videos on YouTube of several members of the cast putting on a concert during The Office convention in Scranton, PA this year as The Scrantones. Here, for example, is a video of Craig Anderson (Darryl Philbin) covering Radiohead’s Creep…forgetting the words sometimes and replacing them with his own. He’s actually not terrible, hilariously. Sorry about the shaky video…but this is the best audio I could find on YouTube.

There are a whole bunch more, including this one of Meredith, Stanley, Jan and Kevin jamming on stage.

That’s hilarious. I find it neat that certain people who you wouldn’t expect have that kind of talent. Thanks for sharing the video.
