Tofino, BC
June 27th, 2007 by Ed Lau |There are very few things better in life than just hanging out at the beach with your friends and a cooler full of beers. This was taking last year when I went with a group of my friends to Tofino, which is a great little place on Vancouver Island with surf and sun. We got there a bit late and it was a tad cold on a couple days but it was perfect for one. It’s a great place to camp, barbacue, drink a couple beers and just relax for a few days.

Very nice photo. I rarely get out to the beach, but when I do, its the greatest feeling. The sand between my toes is so relaxing…. ok, that sounded weird lol
Great shot - Gary’s right, would look great on any desktop.
Looks like one of those Successories pictures. I’ve always liked most of those. Now, all you need is a saying for it.

omg ed, you are so right. no joke. i’ve been so exhausted this past week that yesterday i took the day off to spend with my good friend who’s only in town for a few days. minus the cooler, it was a really awesome day. we were at newport beach for a good three hours just laying in the sun relaxing. it was just what i needed
i don’t think sunset in newport beach would have been as pretty as the picture you took above, though
