Freestyle Footballers Show Off
Remember all those joga bonito commercials that Nike had on during the last World Cup? These dudes put all that to shame. However. doing just about anything on a helipad probably makes it way more epic. Heck, you could do some extreme knitting on a helipad and it would look awesome. [...]

This month is the first time krillz has topped the list of commentators, topping former Top Commentators Ms. Danielle, Leo Chiang and Michael Kwan.
Krillz is a coder from Sweden and a long-time reader of the.[Ed]ition. He took a bit of a break from blogging for a few months but he’s back posting regularly and commenting regularly. His site is full of helpful tips (which, to be honest, are a bit over my head but that’s only because I’m rather inept at everything to do with software…) and some gaming news.
The rest of the Top Commentator list breaks down as follows:
August in Review
August was almost as good as July in terms of traffic as StumbleUpon continues to bring in a great deal of traffic. Individual days weren’t as strong as July but overall, the number of visitors was consistently higher on average than the previous month with a few spikes here and there. My review of Japanese hotdog vendor Japadog keeps going strong more than a month later.
While traffic remains high and RSS subscriptions is hovering around 100 consistantly, overall blog revenue is down for the most part as the summer heat has melted much of the Adsense clicks I’ve been enjoying for the better part of a year. I’m seriously considering privately selling that 300×250 box although as September rolls in, Adsense traffic may return to normal. I’ll decide on this sometime this week.
You’ll also notice the absence of Speed Link Sunday. I’ve decided to not do it the last two weeks because, overall, blogging has slowed for the summer. I’m sure things will pick up again in September so expect to see it again on the 8th.
Name our Site, Win an iPod UPDATE!
Michael and I are still sifting through the ~300 domain suggestions we were sent in August for our Name our Hockey Blog Contest to decide which one we’ll use and who will receive the black Apple iPod Nano. However, the winner of the random draw was decided today…on video…after our weekly Dot Com Pho.
To find out who won…you’ll have to come back on Monday. Why? Well, we’re in close proximity to the Panda Slayer’s evil so…what did you expect?
