After the excellent arctic race special episode that aired a couple weeks ago, I’ve been itching for some more of my favorite British car show, Top Gear. As you may remember, I had to kick Michael Kwan in the chest for misreporting that the show had been canceled when the start of season 10 was merely delayed due to set lease issues.
Now, we’re learning that the start of the tenth season looms closer as the latest Top Gear magazine claims that the show will be back in October. Recently, a fire destroyed some of Top Gear’s props although we don’t know which. Hopefully nothing important was torched. No word on what the new season entails or what cars will be featured but I cling onto hope that they will somehow convince Bugatti to let the Stig take the 253MPH Veyron for a spin around the track. Rumor has it that Tiff will be tracking the Veyron on Fifth Gear so maybe they’ll let Top Gear finally do the same. I’d also expect test drives of other major releases since the end of the ninth season such as the Ferrari GTB 599 Fiorano.

I mean top gear is awesome, not only is it a normal car show where they test new cars but they have some other wicked things that make the show very entertaining, with some crazy competitions or the celebrity car run for the fastest time.
They did something extra above the regular theme and succeeded, that’s what makes it so damn great!
I haven’t been this pumped since the last season of Sopranos began. Actually, Top Gear is like pron for me.
The only way they’ll get a Veyron around a track is if an owner lends them his. There’s no way Bugatti will let anyone know how much the car actually sucks
Err,. Volkswagen, not Bugatti… wtf Bugatti doesn’t make cars, they rent their brand name out to them!
Well they actually let them test the top speed which they reached, but they said that they wouldn’t let stig test run it.
I’m guessing that they are afraid that Stig fucks up the car like the Koenigsegg in the first test run with no back spoiler.
After all that car is the most expensive one you can buy right now so lending it out to different TV shows isn’t on the top of their list I assume.
They let everyone run the car to top speed, because that’s all it can do – reach top speed.
