As promised, Top Gear returned this Sunday. We can expect more drama with the guys going to what looks like a South American country, Russia, racing buses, driving on what looks like Route 66, Richard driving a flaming pink motorbike, James Racing the Stig and Jeremy pulling a Michael Kwan. Oh, James also has what looks to be a salad colander on his head for some reason…
Also, a dog drives a Lamborghini LP560-4…briefly.
Top Gear also recently won Best Factual Program during the British National Television Awards. Unfortunately, since Jeremy, James and Richard were filming the new series, they couldn’t make it. Good thing the Stig had a day off and could go accept the award.

It is in Season 12? Dude that’s a long time for a show.
I don’t think I get that on television. I just watch the popular parts from the show on YouTube which are pretty good parts.

Actually, this is season 12 of the new format of Top Gear. The original format ran from 1977 to 2001.
If you’d like to watch Top Gear and don’t get BBC, you can download the show at Final Gear (http://www.finalgear.com). Some folks may not like to download shows but there isn’t any other way for international fans to watch the show. Off the record though, the Top Gear cast and crew actually like the idea of the Final Gear website.

I have never really watched this program but that was because I didn’t have access to it but now I do and its a great show, those guys can really have you in stitches.
