So apparently there’s an event here in Vancouver next week on the 12th at the Opus Hotel in Yaletown called Twestival. Honestly, I heard a few things but really had no idea what was going on til iPhone Gary filled me in via Twitter earlier today.
Actually, I’m still not entirely sure what the deal is but there should be some refreshments, tickets are a mere $10 and all proceeds go to a good cause, which happens to be Charity:Water. Charity:Water is an organization that works to bring safe drinking water to developing nations. Here in Canada, home to the largest clean drinking water reserve on the planet, we sometimes take these things for granted, which is why it is important that we’re aware of the problems surrounding water around the world and assist in resolving them.
So if you’ve got some time on the 12th between 6pm and 9pm, come down and join me, Gary and I believe the Root of All Evil will be there as well.
