I don’t know about you but I hate mornings…part of the reason I’d rather stay up late, work at night and sleep til noon. Seriously, mornings are simply the worst part of any day and I refuse to believe they even exist on the weekend, part of the reason I’m routinely late to Dot Com Pho each Saturday. I mean, I’m far more efficient in getting up at noon compared to the half hour I spend in bed awake and the the long march to the bathroom when I happen to have to wake up on some wretched morning.
However, the efficient and innovative people that they are, the Japanese have figured out a way to be out the door in under five minutes! The great thing is…the man didn’t look very rushed at all, except when he was eating his toast. Among their secrets? Not using your hands to put on your pants and not using a knife to spread butter. Of course, depending on your bladder, you might need to add some time to account for going to the bathroom (no number twos! There’s NO TIME, MAN!) but I’ll be damned, that’s efficient use of time.
Now THAT’S how you put on pants.
You’d think that after living there for awhile, I might have gained some of this diligence…maybe just a bit through osmosis even…but nope.

I posted this on Twitter a couple days ago. The pant-lunge thing is pretty funny, but wouldn’t the coffee and egg be pretty gross the way he did it?

That is just brilliant, I just loved the way he buttered his toast, and the way he did his pants and tie, very clever, now you have to get a woman to do this getting ready in 5 mins
I am the same way, I have to get up at 5:45 am every morning and I hate it. I decided that if I get another job, never again will it involve getting up this early. I dont really have a strategy for it though. I like to get up and watch about 30 minutes of T.V. while Im getting dressed.
if she had been sleeping on it all night then the restriction of blood would have caused it to go blue furthermore when she got up the pressure of the shoulder would have released causing a rush of blood hence the stronger blue
