Freestyle Footballers Show Off
Remember all those joga bonito commercials that Nike had on during the last World Cup? These dudes put all that to shame. However. doing just about anything on a helipad probably makes it way more epic. Heck, you could do some extreme knitting on a helipad and it would look awesome. [...]
Read MoreWhat The Hell Happens On 01-18-08?!

Seriously, someone has to tell us what the hell this is about already. I’m not sure you know what movie I’m talking about since…well, I don’t even know what movie I’m talking about, really. This has been piquing my interest ever since the trailer surfaced prior to screenings of Transformers. If you haven’t seen it, let me break it down for you. It’s a home video of a some dude’s going away party. Everyone’s having a good time when there’s a bunch of loud growls and explosions. Then there’s all sorts of chaos, including the head of the Statue of Liberty flying through the streets of New York. Hell, better yet, just watch it here.
I forgot to mention this on the list of movies I’m looking forward to simply because…well, I forgot about it. There’s been very few promotions in regard to the movie since Transformers. However, there’s supposed to be a new trailer at the beginning of Beowulf, which I wasn’t planning to watch but I might have to take a peek just to check out the new trailer.
Either way, this is a genius piece of marketing, especially all the viral bits they’re doing with photos from 01-18-08 and such. I swear to god, they should just not have any official trailers revealing any new information right up until the film debuts. You’ll have tons of people going to watch the movie without actually knowing what it’s actually about. That’d be great…everyone that goes won’t know what actually to expect. It could blow up in their faces but hey, it’s a way of marketing that hasn’t been done before.

ReplyThere are so many rumors floating around regarding the “Cloverfield” project by JJ Abrams, I’m not sure who to believe. I’ve heard everything from Voltron to Godzilla.
ReplyYeah, I have heard Godzilla also… looks pretty neat from the trailer and I like how they presented it…
ReplyYup, it’s the much awaited JJ Abrams “secret” film. It’s been getting lots of industry buzz for some time. He is set to do the next Star Trek movie.
