When Are We Going To Stop Killing Each Other?

by Ed Lau on April 16, 2007

I’m sure by now everyone has heard all the details about the shooting at Virginia Tech this morning so I don’t think I need to repeat any of it. If you don’t happen to own a television or ever read the news, you can head on over to CNN or any other news website and they can tell you everything you need to know. Nothing is really confirmed yet but as a university student myself, I can only imagine how scary it is for someone to burst into my classrooms and start firing off rounds. It’s a little scary to think this could happen to any of us.

Some say he was upset that his girlfriend broke up with him. Geez, join the club, asshole. I don’t see how that’s a good enough excuse to go around shooting innocent people that had nothing to do with it. I hope Satan tortures the living #%*& out of you for the rest of eternity, you bastard.

Rest in peace to all the innocent victims of his tragedy and my condolences to all the families involved.

It’s so sad. I can’t stand hearing about these things… they happen all too often.

Yeah, I woke up this afternoon and saw something about a school shooting on the news… I was really taken back when I learned just how many victims there were.

You are right Kelly, they happen all too often, it really is sad… :(

Heard about it this afternoon on my way to work, at work was surprised to find out that the death toll had hit 30. Disgusting!

I saw the BBC news report regarding to this sad event this morning. Apparently over 30 students killed? So sad and unbelievable that something like this can happen at a US university!

I dont live in US so be patient with me here, but it appears to me that nobody ever sees any problems with the liberal gun laws there. How is that possible? Or do I only watch some biased reports?

Well, turns out he is a South Korean national in the US, not that being South Korean matters. Let the racial profiling begin by the US media.

EXACTLY! That’s what I fear most here in the US.

Well I don’t think he did that because of the break up, he wasn’t ever in a relationship with a girl, it seems he was obsessed with her, and above that another Islamic fundamentalist gone crazy…

They harm the religion they try to protect more by acting in this stupid way.
