I was going to have a real post up today but I’m so dead tired so I thought I’d just do a couple announcements.

Michael and I have chosen the name for our new hockey blog site and the announcement will come on Saturday. The third member of our team, Gary, has already registered it and we’re starting the site design. Hopefully we’ll have it up by the start of the NHL season.

Also, we were wondering how many people we could get in on a hockey pool. So far, I’m sure we have a few but I need a more accurate number so I know which site to use. Yahoo is good for about 15-20 people while I’d have to find a different format if we get any more than that. Remember, we’ll be giving out a prize to the winner. I’m not sure what to get. If we make the pool entirely free, the three of us could just do it out of our pockets but if everyone wants to pitch in $10 or so, we could buy a jersey of the winner’s choice and ship it off to them.

So if you’d like to join a fun hockey pool this season, let me know and I’ll count you in.
